MR. RAPIDAN

I designed the Mr Rapidan dry fly to match several of the early season mayflies in the Blue Ridge Mountains for brook trout. Today it is used around the world with great success for grayling, brook trout, dolly varden, rainbow trout, brown trout and cutthroat trout. Its high flotation and excellent angler visibility make it an excellent searching pattern on all freestone streams. Size 18 is a great BWO pattern.
