Most all of the Trico Duns I see in fly shops have enough Hackle to tie three flies (May flies only have 6 legs!), and the wings are always too short and if made of hair, there's enough to put wings on nearly half a dozen flies. It's a tiny fly, so I think TINY when tying it. And the body is hardly larger in diameter than the hook shank. It's one of my favorite hatches, but there can be so many flies on the water that sometimes it's better to sit and wait until the hatch begins to wane a bit.
