Three Signature Rigs

The summer months offer endless opportunities to fish in various ways. From dry flies to streamer fishing. Below are a few helpful videos demonstrating a handful of different ways to rig for dry dropper setups and streamers.

DRY DOUBLE DROPPER

Since 2007, Trevor Wine has been working with WorldCast Anglers in Victor, Idaho and now serves as Head Guide. He is a full time guide 8 months of the year and knows a thing or two about different rig set-ups. Trevor walks us through his ideal rig for fishing a dry dropper dropper.

CADDIS DRY DROPPER

A dry dropper rig is one of the most effective ways to fish throughout the summer. Caddis patterns work for this setup particularly well as they can be found in all columns of the water for many months out of the year. Watch as Russell Miller demonstrates a few different ways to rig a dry dropper setup and gives us a few tips along the way.

STREAMER RIGS

For most anglers the floating line is going to be the most approachable way to start fishing streamers, but there are others that consider heavy sink tips and large articulated flies the "fun stuff". Learn how to rig a floating streamer set up and how to rig a sinking streamer setup from Vail Valley Anglers guide Justin Carr. Each rig has a time and place to be fished.
