Taylor designed this fly when he was in high school. This fly was originally designed to imitate the Nemoura and Capnia (Little black winter stone as many people refer to it) due to the lack of winter/spring stone fly patterns available. Taylor kept this pattern under his hat for almost 2 decades until he started having his staff tie them for the shop guides and customers. This fly quickly blew up as one of our most popular flies sold at the Missoulian Angler fly shop. Now he is excited to have the help of Umpqua to produce this pattern. The Yellow Sally version is the same style as its predecessor, and just as deadly.
