Tiemco Hooks
Tiemco continues to be the standard against which all other fly tying hooks are compared and measured. Currently there are many claiming to compete with Tiemco, but Ken Shimazaki’s hook designs were so cutting edge that most simply copied Tiemco’s models, and some even plagiarized their model numbers. But as Ken would say, “Just 5 flies tied on the real thing (Tiemco) fish better than two dozen on imitations”.
