Dave has fly fished since childhood. He owned and operated the Reno Fly Shop for 28 years and continues to operate a guide and outfitting business, Truckee River Outfitters, in the Reno/Lake Tahoe area. When not fishing or guiding for trout on one of the many local streams or lakes, he can be found in a duck marsh with his kids or stalking a permit on a flat somewhere in the Caribbean.
