"There are some obvious influences to this fly and bucktail has always been something that’s hard to match with its cast-ability and movement in the water.
In recent years, bucktail flies have been adopted by the guides in the Seychelles and there was a need for something in the commercial offering that had the right colors and tied on the right hook to hold up to the task of bringing in some very large fish.
The Cannon Fodder is a great pattern when chasing trevallies, but I also created this fly to accommodate the needs of destination anglers that are looking for another great baitfish to add to their arsenal when targeting both saltwater and freshwater predators."
