Stonefly
The Stonefly adult is perhaps the most gratifying dry fly to trick trout with. Often tied with foam or loads of hair material, they’re easy to cast, remain buoyant for long periods, and are the perfect top fly for hanging a dropper or two. Having a wide variety of nymph patterns to dress, including the infamous Salmon fly, will set any angler up for success on the water.
